Surviving your first hour in Skyferry Tycoon
Skyferry Tycoon drops you into a management sim with a tutorial that explains roughly half of what you need to know. The first hour is confusing, but the underlying logic is simple once it clicks.
Start with one short, busy route and get it profitable before adding a second ship. Every airship you own costs maintenance whether it's flying or not, so an idle fleet quietly drains you.
Watch the demand indicator per island — it shifts with the seasons, and a route that's booming now can dry up later. We learned to raise ticket prices during high demand and drop them when a route went quiet.
Once you understand maintenance versus income, the game becomes genuinely relaxing. Don't over-expand early, keep a cash cushion for repairs, and let the profitable routes fund the ambitious ones.
