Strategy
Ironhold Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Ironhold Command asks you to build and defend a settlement while managing three resources that never quite feel like enough. It's slower than most mobile strategy games, and that's the point — you can pause, plan a full production chain, and come back to it later without losing the thread.
The AI opponents are cautious rather than aggressive, which turns matches into long chess-like standoffs. We appreciated that the game rewards scouting; blindly expanding almost always got us punished, while patient players quietly snowball into an unstoppable position.
It runs cleanly even on older phones, and the interface manages to fit a lot of information onto a small screen without becoming a mess.
What we liked
- Deep resource management you can play at your own pace
- Smart, patient AI opponents
